The Rime of the Ancient Manner

At a wedding party a guest is stopped by an ancient mariner. The
mariner has just felt pain inside which means he has to tell the
story about his horrible voyage. This pain also tells him this is the
man he has to tell the story. And so he tells the following story:
' When they had left Harbour they went south, after some time the
wetter became very bad. They came in the middle of mist and snow.
They couldn't see very much, but at once they see an albatross. This
albatross follows them for days and, it is their connection with the
firm land, they also feed the albatross. Then, for no special reason
the mariner kills the albatross. The rest of the crew doesn't like
this, but when the sky becomes clear they become very happy and they
thank the mariner for killing the albatross. This make them
accomplice on the killing of the albatross. Then the wind turns and
they are driven north and on the equator the wind drops. The ship
stays here for some days in the heat of the sun. they don't get any
water and the crew hang the albatross around the neck of the mariner
to throw the whole guilt on him.
Then at one day a ship appears, and when the sun goes down behind the
ship the light goes right through the ship. On the ship there are two
figures:woman-Life and skeleton-Death. They are playing dice on the
ship. Life wins, she wants the mariner and death gets the rest of the
crew. And so the crew dies, except for the mariner, who has to live
on, this is his punishment.
The wedding guest feared that a ghost was speaking to him but the
mariner assures him that he didn't die. but he had to live between
all the corpses of his crew for seven days.
When at one night there are a lot of water-snakes around the boat.
The mariner blesses them unaware and the albatross falls down in the
deep sea. He then falls asleep and when he wakes up it is raining and
there is a roaring wind. This wind makes the ship move, and at night
the dead bodies start to live again and help the ship to sail but
they don't say a word. At the morning the bodies die again, but the
ship is still going on and the mariner loves the sounds of the moving
ship.
Then the ship stops but a minute later the ship starts to move again
and it makes u jump with causes the being unconscious of the mariner.
Just before he wakes up again, he hears two voices discussing him and
the boat. When he really awakes the ship is just sailing into
harbour. On the deck of the ship is a group of angles (seraph-band)
with the corpses waving their hands. Then he sees the pilot with his
boy and a hermit, they are coming to the ship. When they're very
close to the ship the sea splits and the ship sinks. The ancient
mariner jumps into the little boat and starts to row the boat to the
firm land. '
From that time the ancient mariner has this certain pain when he must
tell someone the story.
